A radar response contains ten rows. That does not necessarily mean it contains ten matches. One fixture can appear for several selections, such as both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. Before writing a summary, establish what each row represents.
OddsTips MCP can read prepared OddsLab, Odds Radar and Statistics Radar content subject to the account's access. These are prepared results; reading them is different from starting a personal analysis.
Count fixtures and selections separately
Consider a constructed response: fixture A has three selections, fixture B has two, and fixture C has one. It contains six selection rows from three unique fixtures. Neither count is wrong. The problem begins when a report labels the six rows “six matches”.
| Fixture | Selection rows |
|---|---|
| A | 3 |
| B | 2 |
| C | 1 |
| Total | 6 selections, 3 fixtures |
Use the fixture identity where it is supplied. Team names alone can be ambiguous across dates or competitions. Do not merge unrelated fixtures simply because their names look similar.
A percentage needs its denominator
A historical sample showing 18 occurrences in 20 observations gives 90%. Nine in ten also gives 90%, but the amount of supporting data differs. These are teaching numbers, not claims about either radar. Ask which outcome is counted, which historical group supplied the denominator and whether the percentage was returned or calculated in the explanation.
Two selections from one fixture are not independent confirmations of a forecast. Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score can be related outcomes. Adding their percentages or treating them as independent votes has no justification from the displayed rows alone.
A page limit is a reporting boundary
Start with ten rows and inspect whether more are available. The documented MCP interface can return partial scans; an unknown total must remain unknown. “No match in this returned page” is narrower than “no qualifying match exists today”. The assistant should preserve that distinction.
If you ask to continue, keep the same date, feed and filters so the next page belongs to the intended search. A changing live feed is not an immutable research snapshot. Save the retrieval time when comparing two reads.
Choose the correct prepared feed
The documented Odds Radar feed is football-specific. Statistics Radar also covers basketball, tennis and hockey. Availability still depends on the current account and publication. A request for today's unavailable data should not silently return an older day under the same heading.
A useful summary therefore reads: “Six returned selections across three fixtures, using the specified feed and date; additional results may remain.” It gives the reader the scope needed to interpret the table before discussing any historical pattern.
